Before you get started, you should spend some time thinking of what your domain name should be. This is an important step and you can’t change it later. Have a few in mind on the chance your first choice is taken.
When you have thought the name of your new website, click here to check with BlueHost to see if it is available or not. If not, keep trying until you find the perfect one. Don’t settle, because your domain name is a big part of your branding, and you will live and breath it for as long as you are in business, so make sure you love it!
Once you have successfully chosen a name, you can click on Next to register your domain name with BlueHost and sign up for a hosting package. ‘Hosting‘ is the place where your website will actually exist on the internet.
There are different hosting packages to choose from. Select the one that you think best suits your needs. You can easily change your mind about which hosting package you want later on.
The last step is to fill in your payment information and voilà you are the the proud owner of a brand new website!
Next step is to install WordPress and create your first post!
